Four inVentiv Health Leaders Recognized in 2010 PharmaVoice 100

SOMERSET, N.J., Aug. 2, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- inVentiv Health (Nasdaq:VTIV), a leading provider of end-to-end clinical development, launch and commercialization services to the global pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, is pleased to announce that four leaders in the inVentiv Communications division will be honored as part of the 2010 PharmaVoice '100 Most Inspiring People', an annual recognition in the publication's August issue. The honorees include Dan Bobear, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Palio; Marcee Nelson, President, Pink Tank; Vince Parry, President and Chief Branding Officer, Y Brand; Bruce Rooke, Chief Creative Officer, GSW Worldwide.

Each year, PharmaVoice Magazine recognizes the 100 individuals in the healthcare industry who inspire and motivate those around them, who mentor and lead as well as contribute significantly to their organization. These individuals are featured in the special August 2010 issue of PharmaVoice.

Dan Bobear's leadership and vision at Palio have resulted in successful partnerships and innovative client solutions. Bobear's 19 years of experience working for both pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare agencies has been a significant force behind Palio's creation of award-winning client work. Bobear is described by his colleagues as having a vision for the industry that aids in the generation of great ideas and builds mutual respect among team members. Prior to Palio, Bobear was Group Director at Creative Healthcare Solutions, and also previously worked at DuPont Pharmaceuticals in market development.

As President of Pink Tank, a specialty division of GSW Worldwide, Marcee Nelson is recognized as an industry thought leader and an expert at building brands and creating marketing efforts to and about women and health. Through the founding of Pink Tank, Nelson has brought a new point of view to health and wellness marketing, bringing together therapeutic knowledge and marketing-to-women expertise to influence female influencers on both sides of the physician/patient conversation. Nelson has formed a unique team offering proprietary insight mining techniques, award-winning "female voice" creative campaigns and proven paths to deepening brand relationships with women, including expertise in social media strategy. After joining GSW in 2004, Nelson led creative initiatives for a wide range of women's health products. Prior to Pink Tank, Nelson spent more than 20 years at J. Walter Thompson and DDB Needham in Chicago, working on a diverse group of consumer brands, including Kraft Foods and General Mills.

As Chief Branding Officer for inVentiv Communications and founder and President of Y Brand, Vince Parry offers clients his expertise in branding strategy development, consensus-building brand behavior models, proprietary branding research, and branding hallmark design. A recognized industry thought leader, Parry has served as a magazine contributor and conference presenter, and has appeared as an expert on BBC Radio and NBC Nightly News on the topic of branding diseases and conditions. Prior to Y Brand's founding in 2001, he served as Executive Vice President/CCO at Sudler & Hennessey for 13 years, where he created and led Signature, S&H's brand identity group. Before S&H, Parry served as Group Creative Director at Klemtner Advertising. Among his colleagues, Parry is known for his passion and ability to bring focus and clarity to complex situations, and his unfailing track record for advancing the cause of his clients.

Bruce Rooke, as Chief Creative Officer of GSW Worldwide, has helped the agency to achieve its current status as one of the most respected leaders in both U.S. and global healthcare communications. Under Rooke's leadership, GSW has earned top creative accolades from every major industry competition. In 2006, Rooke's hands-on role with Tamiflu launched an industry first: a promotional tie-in with the major motion picture release of "Happy Feet," which earned the first Yahoo Big Idea Purple Chair in pharma. Prior to GSW Worldwide, Rooke worked at J. Walter Thompson in Detroit for 16 years where, as Executive Creative Director, he developed the Ford "No Boundaries" campaign featuring Bill Ford. In addition, he served as Executive Vice President for JWT Worldwide and sat on the Worldwide Creative Council for JWT and WPP Group.

"We congratulate Dan, Marcee, Vince and Bruce on their inclusion in the PharmaVoice 100," said Bill O'Donnell, President and Chief Operating Officer of inVentiv Communications. "As leaders in the industry and within inVentiv, they consistently inspire us to question conventional thinking, push the envelope, and seek better solutions for clients through their drive, passion and commitment."
