Green Globe International, Inc. Announces Intention to Expand International Territories Licensed to Certification Partner

Green Globe Certification Expected to Receive Authorization to Expand Into New Markets

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 4, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green Globe International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:GGII), the worldwide owner of the Green Globe brand, today announced its intention to expand the non-exclusive license for its certification partner, Green Globe Certification, which is represented in over 83 countries, to include additional territories around the world.

"Since we first granted Green Globe Certification its license to represent the brand through its certification program in specified territories around the world, it has made significant progress in advancing the brand in those regions," said Steven R. Peacock, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Green Globe International. "For a variety of reasons, we now believe it is the time to modify Green Globe Certification's non-exclusive license to include additional areas. We expect to have the modified agreement in place very shortly and will announce the specifics at that time.

"Green Globe International's core focus is to expand the use of the Green Globe brand in revenue generating sustainability applications around the world, and this planned modification is consistent with that focus. All of our licensees must maintain their adherence to the Green Globe Standards, which are among the most respected sustainability standards in use today. Licensees must also meet certain performance standards with respect to the advancement of the brand, and we believe that this is another area in which Green Globe Certification has made progress since entering into its licensing agreement.

"This modification is a tribute to the hard work of the Green Globe Certification team, and we look forward to the additional expansion of this certification program in markets worldwide," Mr. Peacock added.

Green Globe International has recently commented on several new milestones reached by Green Globe Certification, including the first hotel in the country of Oman to be certified. For additional information on Green Globe and its programs, please visit www.greenglobeint.com.
