Leader in CPV Technology Prepares for Growth of Solar Market With Key Hires


FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - August 10, 2010) - GreenVolts, a leader in the development and commercialization of concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) technology, today introduced Mike Doman as its Vice President of Sales and Scott Shoults as its Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Doman joins GreenVolts with more than 20 years of solar experience in Sales and Marketing with a focus in both commercial and utility scale PV markets. Mr. Shoults brings more than 20 years of management experience successfully introducing new products in global, high growth technology markets.

Mr. Doman joins GreenVolts with more than 20 years of sales and operations experience. Prior to joining GreenVolts he was SVP of Business Development in charge of sales, engineering, procurement and construction for the PV Projects Division at Regenesis Power, a leading developer of large commercial and utility PV solar projects. Prior to Regenesis, he held executive positions at Shell Solar where he was responsible for PV commercial and consumer sales, and Siemens Solar where he led US Distribution. Mr. Doman was also VP of Sales and Marketing for Ransco Industries which sold large test facilities and wind tunnels to the auto industry. Previous to Ransco Industries he was the Director of Programs for Pacific Scientific in charge of the power generation systems for the US Navy torpedo systems. He holds five electronic and mechanical patents and a BASc Electrical Engineering -- Specializing in Utility Power Distribution from the University of Toronto.

Scott Shoults has over 20 years of executive experience in multiple high growth markets including optics, lasers, networking, information security and telecom. Mr. Shoults has a unique ability to identify insertion opportunities and cultivate them into winning business relationships. He brings extensive international experience developing partnerships throughout the US, Europe and Asia while holding management positions at global technology companies including JDSU, Cisco Systems, Itochu, and Harris/3M. He holds a BSEE from the University of Southern California.
