POP Adds Creative Firepower -- Hires Gannon Mooney as Creative Director

Creative Veteran Tapped to Support Agency's Growth


SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - September 13, 2010) -  POP, a leading digital agency that works with global brands like Target, Electronic Arts and Microsoft, today announced that Gannon Mooney has been hired as Creative Director. In this role, Gannon will work with the design team to support all phases of creative work -- from conception through production. POP's investment in the design practice reflects the tremendous growth of both existing and new clients, and the agency's commitment to delivering innovative interactive and mobile experiences to its Fortune 1000 clients. Gannon will report to Tom Moran, Executive Creative Director, and will be based in POP's Seattle office.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Gannon will bring his expertise to POP's design team to help manage and guide the team to deliver rich experiences across multiple platforms and devices. Gannon's hiring is significant in developing a scalable creative structure that will allow the agency to provide existing and future clients with a more dedicated creative presence.

Prior to joining POP, Gannon served as Razorfish's creative lead in Seattle, where he worked with clients such as Cingular, Expedia, General Mills, Netflix, the NBA, and both the IE8 and Zune groups at Microsoft. Before Razorfish, Gannon worked at Saltmine, where he led the creative effort to design several mobile application packages for AT&T Wireless and helped roll out a new brand for British Petroleum (bp.com). Gannon has also worked as a designer/developer for MSN, RealNetworks and several other local advertising agencies.
