Cherwell Software UK Appoints Simon Kent Head of Technical Services, EMEA

SWINDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - October 7, 2010) -  Cherwell Software, Inc. ("Cherwell"), the developer of Cherwell Service Management™, today announced the appointment of Simon Kent as Head of Technical Services, EMEA. Kent's core focus will be to advance the Technical Services and Service Provision business strategy to support the growth of direct and channel driven customer acquisition across EMEA as the company continues to develop new markets for its integrated service management solutions.  

Simon, former co-founder, co-owner and Director of Customer Services at ICCM, brings with him over 24 years experience in the IT industry with specialist knowledge of Service Management, Business Process Management and ITIL aligned software spanning 17 years. With former responsibilities including Customer Service and Retention business strategies, Simon is well placed to augment the successful advance of Cherwell Software's progression in the IT Service Management market place.
