University of Maryland Continues Its 21-Year Partnership With Paciolan

Implements Paciolan's Access Management System

IRVINE, CA and COLLEGE PARK, MD--(Marketwire - October 21, 2010) -  Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing and fundraising solutions in college athletics, announced today that the University of Maryland will continue its 21-year partnership with Paciolan by implementing the company's Access Management system. Beginning with basketball for the 2010-11 season, Terrapin fans will have the option to go online to purchase tickets and print their tickets at home, which helps decrease will call and wait times. Maryland season ticket holders will be also able to conveniently transfer tickets online to friends or family should they be unable to attend a game. Maryland has been working with Paciolan since 1989.

"Paciolan continues to keep Maryland Athletics at the forefront of technology, while setting the service standard for the ticketing industry," said Kevin Anderson, director of athletics, University of Maryland. "They give us all the tools we need to sell tickets to our fans and provide us with the best service. They also empower us with the control we need to run our organization as efficiently as possible."

After the initial roll out for basketball events this year at Comcast Center, Maryland plans to roll out Access Management for football -- stadium wide -- at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium in fall 2011. The system will give Maryland the ability track event attendance for all basketball and football home games.

"The Access Management system will provide our fans with the convenience to receive, transfer and, in the future, resell tickets digitally," said Matt Monroe, assistant athletics director for Ticket Services, University of Maryland. "We then capture rich customer data, including attendance information, to provide us with the information needed to develop future marketing initiatives to help drive future revenue and better serve our fans."

"Maryland has been a great partner for many years and it's exciting to take this next step with them to implement our Access Management system, which will provide measurable benefits to both fans and Maryland alike," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan.
