Arizona Lottery Millionaire Raffle Launches Nov. 1; Promises $1 Million Top Prize

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - November 1, 2010) -  The annual Arizona Lottery Millionaire Raffle will launch Monday, Nov. 1, with more than $3 million in cash prizes, including a $1 million grand prize.

A special Early Bird drawing for 20 $5,000 prizes will take place Tuesday, Nov. 30. Players who purchase a Millionaire Raffle ticket prior to the Early Bird deadline will receive a free Powerball ticket and will remain eligible for all of the 1,147 final cash prizes.

"Millionaire Raffle is one of our most popular seasonal games," said Jeff Hatch-Miller, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. "With only 300,000 tickets available, we expect to sell out quickly and encourage players to get their ticket early so they don't miss their chance to win."

Tickets for the Arizona Lottery's fifth Millionaire Raffle are $20 each and can be purchased at any local Arizona Lottery retailer. Only 300,000 tickets will be sold, providing players with some of the best odds to win $1 million. The tickets will be sold in sequential order and sales will stop once the final ticket has been sold.

In addition to the single $1 million prize and the 20 Early Bird prizes of $5,000, the Millionaire Raffle will award six $100,000 prizes, 40 $10,000 prizes, 750 $1,000 prizes and 350 $500 prizes.
