WaterPure International Commences Final Testing of the Magnum High Water Output Unit

WaterPure International to Add Larger Water Producing Unit

OAKLAND PARK, Fla., Feb. 7, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WaterPure International, Inc. (The "Company" or "WaterPure") (OTCBB:WPUR) announced that it has begun final testing of its new Magnum Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG). The Magnum is designed to be placed outside the home or office and will use the humidity in the outside air to produce crystal clear drinking water. The pure bacteria free water that it produces is plumbed in to the water dispenser of a home or office refrigerator or directly to a water dispenser at the sink.

Final testing of the Magnum evolves the placing of the Magnum in test homes and offices to insure that proper water flow is attained. Completion of this testing phase is expected within the next ten weeks.

The Magnum will make pure drinking water from the humidity in the air. In areas where relative humidity levels might sometimes fall below 35%, the Magnum can also be used to purify municipal tap water or well water and provide a constant supply of water that far exceeds all of the EPA and WHO requirements for drinking water. Larger units are expected to be introduced in the near future.

The Magnum is made at WaterPure's Florida factory in the United States of America and continues to provide the high quality for which WaterPure has become known. Steve Axelrod, National Sales Director, said, "I think that the Magnum will help to meet the demand for new sustainable sources of pure drinking water in homes and offices."

About WaterCycle Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs)

WaterCycle AWGs extract moisture from the atmosphere through a condensation process, transforming it and creating absolutely pure, healthy drinking water. Multiple air and water filtration systems remove particulate matter smaller than .01 microns. Utilizing ozonation, micro-organisms are eliminated, including bacteria and viruses. Test results of WaterCycle water measured 99.9% purity, which exceeds EPA requirements and is higher than many tap and bottled waters in use.

Operating on standard 110v/or 220 power, the WaterCycle is extremely efficient and uses a minimal amount of energy to produce water. Driven by a microcomputer control, the unit makes water from the humidity in the air, stores the water and purifies the water using a patented technology. The purification system in the WaterCycle employs special filters to remove any unpleasant tastes or odor that might be present in the air.
