New Facebook Application Allows Users to Order Prints Directly From Facebook Page; In February Users Can Print Facebook Photos Direct From In-Store Print Bar Kiosks and Upload Photos to Facebook for Free


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - February 8, 2011) - Facebook, the largest photo sharing site on the Web with more than 2.5 billion photos uploaded every month, recently announced an updated photo sharing platform, which includes the ability to upload high resolution images -- large enough for print quality photos. On the heels of that announcement, Ritz & Wolf Camera & Image, America's premier imaging destination, is excited to announce its new Facebook capabilities that include the 'RitzPix Order Prints' application which allows users to order their uploaded and tagged images directly from Facebook with one hour pick up in-store or one day delivery. Customers may also visit any of the nearly 300 stores nationwide and access their Facebook photos at in-store Print Bar kiosks with the ability to upload and share photos on Facebook, free for the month of February. .

The 'RitzPix Order Prints' application can be found at http://apps.facebook.com/ritzpixphotos. This application allows customers to open their Facebook photo albums within the app and print directly from Facebook using their RitzPix.com account, Ritz & Wolf's online imaging site.

Facebook Access at Print Bar Kiosks
With the tap of an on-screen button, in any one of its nearly 300 stores, customers can view, download and print their favorite Facebook photos and create photo books, cards, calendars, prints, enlargements and more. Customers also may use the kiosk to upload their favorite pictures to Facebook. When uploading their photos to Facebook, via the Print Bar kiosk, customers are instantly able to share photos with their friends and offer the ability for friends to order the print as well with just one click. During the month of February, customers can check out the new service for no charge, starting March the service will cost $.99 flat-fee. The company received more than 100,000 impressions from customer uploads during a trial period of the new Facebook capabilities that was conducted in select stores over the past month.
