Arizona Lottery Launches Fantasy 5(TM) With New DOUBLER Feature

Fantasy 5 Replaces Pick 5 as Newer Version of the Game

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - March 1, 2011) - The Arizona Lottery announces the update of its popular game Pick 5 to a newer version of the game, renamed Fantasy 5.

Fantasy 5 is a draw game with a unique DOUBLER feature. Provided at no additional cost to the player, approximately one in every ten tickets will be designated a DOUBLER ticket. If a player wins any non-jackpot play with a DOUBLER ticket, it will instantly double the player's winnings.

"We are thrilled to bring back Fantasy 5, with the new DOUBLER feature, to our selection of Arizona Lottery Games," said Jeff Hatch-Miller, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. "The DOUBLER feature is a great way to surprise our players with a bigger prize and add a fun twist to the game. The fun and exciting DOUBLER feature is sure to be popular with our players."

Fantasy 5 game play consists of selecting five out of 41 numbers, with the option to play QuickPick. A player must match all five numbers drawn to win a jackpot, which starts at $50,000 and keeps growing until someone wins. Game plays matching two, three, or four of the numbers drawn in any order win a lower set prize amount.

Purchased separately, EXTRA is an optional game feature that can be added to Fantasy 5, allowing players a chance to win a prize instantly, independent of the Fantasy 5 drawing. The EXTRA feature is five play symbols from 01 through 41, selected by a computer, used to randomly determine whether a particular EXTRA play is a winner of one or more instant prizes.

Drawings for Fantasy 5 will be held six days a week; every Monday through Saturday, at approximately 9:40 p.m. MST.

Players must be 21 years or older to purchase or redeem tickets. Overall odds vary by game. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, these materials may be made available in an alternate format. Gambling Problem? Call 1-800-NEXT STEP. Please Play Responsibly.™
