COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., March 8, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- McDivitt Law Firm encourages high school students to use their creativity and express themselves about an important cause—the dangers of distracted driving. The law firm is sponsoring its annual video public service announcement (PSA) contest for local students and inviting them to share their perspectives on dangerous driving behaviors such as texting, talking on the phone, or driving under the influence of alcohol.
PSA Contest Details
High school students (grades 9 to 12) in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado, may enter 28- to 29-second videos addressing the dangers of underage drinking and driving. Entries will be judged on students' abilities to analyze and address the topic and produce a quality video.
The student who creates the winning video will receive a laptop computer or a $1,500 gift card to an electronics store; his or her school will receive a monetary donation; and the winning PSA will be aired on television, the McDivitt Law Firm website, and My PSA Contest's website. Entries must be submitted by April 15, 2011.
