PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - March 21, 2011) - The Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology (ABI) announced today the speakers and topics for the inaugural Anita Borg Top Company for Technical Women Workshop to be held on May 19, 2011 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California. The event will feature speakers from top technical industry leaders including Top Company for Technical Women award winner IBM, Cisco, Symantec, Intel, Intuit, CA Technologies, Microsoft Research and SAP.
"High-technology companies today are faced with critical talent challenges. Despite the benefits of diversity on innovation, women are few in technical roles and are more likely to be leaving companies than their male counterparts.
