(NWMT) NewMarket Technology Changes Business Strategy to Unlock Value of Subsidiary Operations

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NWMT) recently updated the Company's business strategy to transition from competing as a multinational systems integrator to working as a conglomerate of leading regional systems integrators. The primary objective of the business strategy change is to unlock what management believes to be the yet unrecognized value of the subsidiary operations. NewMarket's independent public subsidiary China Crescent Enterprises, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CCTR) recently announced a letter of intent with NuMobile, Inc. whereby NuMobile would acquire a China Crescent subsidiary with approximately $22 million in annual revenue providing original design and manufacturing services primarily within the mobile communications market sector. The NewMarket Webcast scheduled for release later today will present the proposed transaction between NuMobile and China Crescent to further illustrate both NewMarket and China Crescent's updated business strategies as regional systems integration leaders.

A link to the Webcast will be posted to NewMarket's corporate website, www.newmarkettechnology.com, upon release and sent to corporate email subscribers.

NewMarket recently released two management Webcasts, the first from CFO Philip J. Rauch reviewing the Company's 2010 financial performance as reported on Form 10-K. NewMarket reported $118 million in annual revenue and $2.6 million in net income for 2010, up from $98 million in revenue and $1.6 million in net income for 2009. The second Webcast, from CEO Bruce Noller, provides a brief Company background and review of NewMarket and China Crescent's updated business strategies.
