Oasis Appoints Dave McMillan to VP of Global Field Programs


LEXINGTON, Mass., May 31, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Oasis Systems, a leader in Information Technology and Services to the Department of Defense announced today that Dave McMillan has been promoted to the position of Vice President Global Field Programs. In this role Dave will be responsible for the company's programs and business operations sourced from Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah; Scott AFB, Illinois; and Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Dave has over 25 years experience in program management and continuous process improvement. He has lead and implemented CMM, CMMI, and ISO process models in both government and commercial organizations. His experience includes serving as a lead consultant for the Air Force Software Technology Support Center (STSC) supporting AF programs in improvement of software practices. He has an extensive IT background and has lead several large multi-million dollar IT projects to successful implementation and completion. His previous positions include Technical Director, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Officer, Vice President of Operations, and Director of Operations. Mr McMillan is located at the Oasis Office in Layton UT.
