Warner Bros. Pictures Goes Green With ACT Productions

The Renowned Miami Production Company Is Working to Promote the Studio's Big Summer Release, "Green Lantern"; Adrienne Arsht Center Revealed as "Secret" Location for Green Lantern Promotional Stunt Tonight

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - Jun 13, 2011) - Miami is one of 11 North American cities chosen as part of the huge promotion of Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming summer release, "Green Lantern." The promotion will start Monday, June 13, from dusk to midnight at a secret-until-now location, and feature the "Green Lantern" logo displayed prominently. Fans have been invited to decipher local clues leading them to the secret location to "Join the Corps" and get a chance to be featured on the movie's Facebook page.

Miami's very own production company, ACT Productions, seeks to make its city's Green lantern logo stand out from the rest. The enormous symbol is expected to be visible to tens of thousands of local commuters from the location, only just now being announced as the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. The Adrienne Arsht Center, in the heart of downtown Miami, attracts more than 500,000 visitors with 500 stunning performances and events annually, which range from opera, ballet and Broadway to dance, classical music and pop. It is one of the largest performing arts centres in the country, and a true Miami landmark.

ACT will be using very high-tech LED and short arc lighting equipment to help achieve the effect. ACT worked with Warner Bros. in the past to promote the Jim Carrey comedy, 'Yes Man" in a similar manner.

"We're happy to partner with Warner Bros. once again to spread the good word about another of their great films," said ACT's CEO, Bruce Orosz. "We are going green!"

"Green Lantern" opens in theaters nationwide in 3D and 2D on Friday, June 17, 2011. The film has been rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action.
