DELRAY BEACH, Fla., June 13, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PositiveID Corporation ("PositiveID") (Nasdaq:PSID), a leader in next generation patient monitoring and diagnostics, announced today that it has partnered with Rogers Communications, Canada's largest wireless provider, to improve diabetes management through the companies' innovative mobile technology. Through this strategic relationship, Rogers Communications will provide PositiveID with machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless data and mobile connectivity management services to enable the communication of a diabetes patient's glucose readings from PositiveID's iglucose™ solution.

"We are excited to partner with Rogers and utilize its robust network and innovative device management platform to enhance our iglucose system," said Scott R.
