CapitalTickets.ca, Senators Sports & Entertainment Extend Partnership With Paciolan

Leverage Paciolan's Ticketing System for Regional Ticketing Growth

IRVINE, CA and OTTAWA--(Marketwire - Jun 14, 2011) - Paciolan, a leading provider of ticketing and marketing solutions for more than 500 live entertainment organizations, announced today that CapitalTickets.ca and Senators Sports & Entertainment have extended their partnership with the company. CapitalTickets.ca is a full-service regional ticketing company that supports multiple clients in Ottawa, Ontario, including: Senators Sports & Entertainment, Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest, Capital Hoedown, City of Ottawa Theatres (Centrepointe Theatre and Shenkman Arts Centre), Ottawa 67's Hockey Club and Casino Sound of Light to name a few. CapitalTickets.ca sells more than 1.5 million tickets annually.

"The Paciolan ticketing system has helped us build our business and grow ticket sales every year," said Tom Gillis, general manager of CapitalTickets.ca. "By managing ticketing in-house, we're able to control the customer experience, our ticketing and our brand, while creating new revenue streams that directly impact our bottom line."

CapitalTickets.ca leverages the Paciolan infrastructure to manage its on-site call center that generates both traditional and non-traditional revenues. The call center staff sells hotel and tourism packages throughout the year and also up-sells services, such as restaurant reservations and parking, which are added on to the regular ticketing order.

Paciolan's marketing services help CapitalTickets.ca generate additional revenue and engage fans. The Ottawa Senators Hockey Club, for example, leveraged Paciolan's online remarketing services to sell tickets to new fans that generated an incredible 43:1 Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

"Paciolan has proven to be a true partner that works hand-in-hand to help us achieve our goals," Gillis added. "This absolutely factored into our decision to renew our contract. From the executive offices to our Client Partner and eCommerce experts, Paciolan is an extension of the CapitalTickets.ca team."

In the future, CapitalTickets.ca plans to leverage Paciolan's CRM technology to enhance its client services and gain a holistic view of its fans' interactions and preferences. The new CRM system will enable CapticalTickets.ca to deliver a personalized event experience for each fan, while also offering new cross-selling capabilities to all of the CapitalTickets.ca client organizations.

"We're excited about the success and revenue growth CapitalTickets.ca and the Ottawa Senators have enjoyed by leveraging our industry-leading ticketing and marketing software," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "We look forward to continuing our partnership and to helping these industry leading organizations achieve their future goals."
