The University of Cincinnati Renews Its Partnership With Paciolan

Leverages Paciolan System to Offer Great Services to Bearcat Fans

IRVINE, CA and CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - Jun 15, 2011) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing marketing, and fundraising solutions in college athletics, announced today that The University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati) has renewed its partnership with the company. Cincinnati has been working with Paciolan since 1990.

"We leverage technology to maximize our ticketing and fundraising programs," said Andy Hurley, senior associate athletic director for external relations, University of Cincinnati. "This past year we integrated our UCATS donor seating program with the online season ticket process. Combining the fundraising and ticket renewal process online has been a tremendous service to our customers, both donors and season ticket holders."

Cincinnati also developed a major donor tracking program and reporting dashboard built into the Advantage fundraising system. The program provides development executives and fundraising officers with the tools and analytics to cultivate each major donor relationship and maximize fundraising opportunities.

"Paciolan is simply a great partner," said Omar Banks, Interim chief financial officer, University of Cincinnati. "There has not been anything that we have asked for that Paciolan has not worked hard to deliver. At the end of the day, we were committed to continue our strong partnership with them."

Cincinnati has also enjoyed great success in the area of ticketing programs. With digital ticketing, for example, 80 percent of all single tickets are delivered via print-at-home, a metric that has increased each year since the launch. The percentage of Cincinnati's online season ticket renewals has also grown annually and reached 60 percent this past football season -- more than double from just two years ago. "This year, we offered payment plans for season ticket holders, and more than 25 percent elected to exercise the new, convenient payment plan option," said Meagan Kantor, manager, customer service and ticket operations, University of Cincinnati.

Cincinnati also uses Paciolan's Social Media system, which allows athletics to build customized applications on the Cincinnati Athletics Facebook page to engage Bearcat fans. "The system has worked really well for us," said Brad Wurthman, assistant athletic director, marketing and game operations, University of Cincinnati. "We've been able to use Facebook to promote events, sell tickets, build sponsor value, and create great offers for our fans."

"It's exciting to see the growth and success the University of Cincinnati has achieved through our long-term partnership," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "We look forward to continuing to help their innovative staff achieve new milestones in the area of ticketing, marketing and fundraising."
