MorrisAnderson Promotes Paulina Fin Caprio and Mark T. Iammartino to Director

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Jul 26, 2011) - MorrisAnderson, a leading financial and operational advisory firm, announced today that it has promoted both Paulina Fin Caprio, 36, and Mark T. Iammartino, 35, to the position of director, effective immediately. In their new roles, Caprio and Iammartino will work independently on client engagements, further develop client relationships and focus on growing new business opportunities.

Caprio joined MorrisAnderson in 2009 as an associate director in its Chicago office. She has 15 years of experience in corporate turnaround management and restructuring, investment management and finance. A recent highlight of her career includes managing the bankruptcy filings and financial analysis for Cosmolab, Inc., a 100-year-old cosmetic and skincare products manufacturer. Her work helped earn MorrisAnderson the "2010 Turnaround of the Year" award from the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Atlanta Chapter.

Iammartino joined MorrisAnderson in 2009 as an associate director also in its Chicago office. He has 15 years of consulting experience in corporate turnaround management and restructuring services, credit analysis and due diligence. During his time at MorrisAnderson, Iammartino has advised clients on divestitures and restructuring, provided investment banking services, performed financial forecasting, managed vendor relationships and served on unsecured creditors' committees for several companies.

Caprio's turnaround experience covers business services, restaurants, consumer products, metals, real estate and transportation sectors. Before joining MorrisAnderson, she held various finance-related positions, including equity portfolio manager, corporate finance and M&A analyst and distressed debt and risk arbitrage analyst. Caprio has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2002 and is a board member of the International Womens Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). She is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), and the Executive Club of Chicago. She holds a bachelor's degree in neuropsychology from the University of Toronto.

Iammartino has worked across a wide variety of industries and is particularly involved in MorrisAnderson's automotive, business services and construction materials industry groups. Prior to joining the MorrisAnderson team, he spent more than a decade with Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, where he led Ernst & Young's creditor advisory service line for securitization-related services and was heavily involved in the financial services sector. Iammartino is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois and is also a member of TMA and ABI. He holds bachelor's degrees in finance and accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
