CHANDLER, Ariz., Aug. 1, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Isola Group, S.a.r.l. today announced the appointment of Robert (Bob) Chaney as President of the Americas region, reporting directly to Ray Sharpe, President and CEO. Mr. Chaney succeeds Matt LaRont, who was recently promoted to President-Asia. As President-Americas, Mr. Chaney will be responsible for Isola's sales, customer service and manufacturing operations in the Americas. He will also be a member of the company's Executive Leadership Team.

Mr. Chaney joins Isola from Sanmina-SCI Corporation where he served as President of the PCB Interconnect Technologies Division. Prior to Sanmina-SCI, Mr. Chaney held senior-level positions with a number of high-technology companies, including FirstMile Technologies, ATMI Inc., AT&T and IBM.
Mr. Chaney holds a BS degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
