Inc. Magazine Places Monarch Media on Its Annual List of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies


Santa Cruz, Calif., Aug. 24, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. has named Monarch Media to the Inc. 500|5000, the magazine’s annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Monarch Media, which was ranked no. 2,308 on the list, is a leading provider of eLearning and mobile solutions.

Monarch Media, which Schneeberger founded in 1997, has averaged an annual revenue growth rate of 105 percent over the past three years. The company creates eLearning products for corporate, government, university, and nonprofit clients. Methodology
The 2011 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2007 to 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2010. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million.
