DAVIS, Calif., Sept. 1, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Moller International, Inc. (OTCQB:MLER) (The Company) is pleased to announce that Jah Mackey has been appointed to the newly created position of Marketing Director. In this position, Mr. Mackey will coordinate the Company's efforts leading up to demonstration flight of the Company's flagship product, the M400 Skycar® vertical take off and landing (VTOL) capable, high-speed aircraft. In addition, Mr. Mackey will take over the sponsor outreach program, media relations, and overall organization branding, as well as general project management across a wide scope of Moller International activities.
Mr. Mackey has been a marketing executive for over 20 years. Most recently, he was a principal with Oceanus Marine Group, Inc., where he worked with the sales management team to define and execute effective marketing and public relations campaigns; managed sales and marketing projects across multiple product lines; spearheaded the business development and strategic partnerships.
Prior to this position, Mr. Mackey served as Marketing Manager at Bay Propeller, a division of Bay Ship & Yacht, where he helped launch tradeshow programs and corporate communications.
