LAKEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 2, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- For two days each September everyone is Italian during the annual Festival Italiano celebration at Belmar, a free event featuring Italian food, culture, wine and artisans on Sept. 10-11,2011 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. From 'Bon giorno' to 'Ciao,' guests will be immersed in traditional Italian food, grape stomping, a bocce tournament, live music and traditional Italian flag performers flown in from Italy--all among the colorful tents, flags and decor that transform the outdoor event into a little slice of Italy! Proceeds from the event benefit Project Angel Heart, a Colorado non-profit organization dedicated to cooking and delivering fresh meals to the homes of those coping with illness at no cost to recipients.
