Sinu Named One of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies

New York City IT Company Has Three-Year Revenue Growth of 167%

New York City, NY, Sept. 14, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. magazine recently ranked Sinu number 1632 on its fifth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The three-year growth rate for Sinu was an impressive 167%. The list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy--America’s independent entrepreneurs. Sinu joins Spirit Airlines, television maker Vizio, Honest Tea, Dunkin Donuts and Metrokane, makers of the Rabbit corkscrew, among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list.

Earlier this year, Sinu was ranked number 15 on the 2011 Inner City 100 List and named one of the world’s top 100 managed service providers by MSPmentor. Both lists recognize companies based on a number of factors including revenue growth.

Sinu’s growth can be attributed, in part, to how customers are adjusting to a challenging economy, according to Sinu CTO Larry Velez. "Companies often turn to us because they need to implement cost-saving measures yet they require more advanced technology to allow for their own growth. They turn to Sinu because we help our customers optimize proven technologies without requiring large capital investments in their IT infrastructures."

During the first three months of the year, the U.S. economy grew by just 1.9 percent, that, along with an average 9% unemployment rate, make it difficult for companies to expand. Growth companies such as Sinu and others on the Inc.500|5000 list help provide opportunities for employment and innovation.

"Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500/5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is," says Inc. magazine Editor Jane Berentson.
