EFI Strategy Validated at GRAPH EXPO With Strong Orders and the Most Must See 'em Awards

FOSTER CITY, Calif., Sept. 22, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EFI™ (Nasdaq:EFII) concluded a very successful GRAPH EXPO 2011 last week, with high visitor attendance, strong orders on the show floor, hundreds of qualified leads, and the most awards won by a single company in the Must See 'em award program's history.

EFI received 11 Must See 'em awards, more than any other exhibitor at the event. Must See 'em honors are given to those products and services showcased at GRAPH EXPO that are deemed as innovative and compelling technology for the printing industry. Sponsored by the Graphic Arts Show Company and conducted independently by the PrintCom Consulting Group, Must See 'em nominated products are judged by a committee of industry consultants, analysts, educators, and editors.

Frank Romano, RIT Professor Emeritus, said: "In 2011, EFI earned more Must See 'em awards than any other company ever. This is a significant achievement because EFI's success represents its customers' success."

EFI garnered two Must See 'ems for products being shown for the first time – one for the new Digital StoreFront® ticket and preview feature, and another for the revolutionary browser-based EFI PrintSmith™ Vision management system. The company also received nine Worth-a-Look awards – the winning products were Fiery® System 10, Fiery Image Enhance Visual Editor, Fiery Dashboard, Fiery Color Profiler Suite 3.1, Fiery to Kodak Prinergy integration, Monarch Portal, Rastek™ H652, Colorproof™ XF 4.5, and Web Control Center 1.5. Many of these were also on display at the show for the first time.

"GRAPH EXPO was an overwhelming success for EFI. We're thrilled by our high booth traffic, significant orders, and strong leads and very proud of our record-setting Must See 'em performance," said Frank Mallozzi, senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at EFI. "Our strong focus on integration demonstrations paid-off, with several signed deals at the show from companies buying MIS software and VUTEk printers, and others from existing VUTEk customers who added an MIS or Fiery RIP server. This is a true innovative differentiator for EFI."

The EFI booth showcased the full breadth of the company's offerings, with every product line on display. EFI products were also shown in 11 partner booths, including Canon U.S.A., Heidelberg, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Ricoh Americas Corporation, and Xerox Corporation.
