Arab America Launches as National Website for Arab Americans

Website Seeks to Disseminate Accurate Information About Arab Americans and the Arab World


DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 19, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, after much anticipation, ArabAmerica.com has officially launched. Founded in 2007, as Arab Detroit, the website will promote an accurate image about the Arab American community and the Arab world.

With over three and a half million Arab Americans in the U.S., Arab America's primary goal is to become a "bridge" bringing together the diverse Arab American community. Secondly, Arab America is an educational resource site for all Americans. Arab America serves five markets: California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, and Washington DC.

Arab America will initially serve five markets: California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, and Washington DC. Future plans will see Arab America expanding into several other Arab American population centers.
