GoHealth Employees Begin Projects Today for Company's Second Innovation Invasion

GoHealth, an Insurance Technology Company, Will Kick Off Its Second Innovation Invasion Where Employees Have 48 Hours to Create Any Project

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Oct 24, 2011) - GoHealthInsurance.com is working to change the health insurance industry with its second GoHealth Innovation Invasion.

"We are always looking for ways to improve our consumer platform. What better way than to allow our employees to create just about anything they want to change our company for the better?" asked Brandon Cruz, President of GoHealthInsurance.com. "We know our employees have great ideas and the Innovation Invasion rewards them for that."

How does the invasion work? The Innovation Invasion kicks off a 48-hour window for participants to create and build upon any solution they find beneficial to the company. Starting today, Monday, October 24 after work hours, employees can begin work on their project. All participants have until noon on October 26, 2011 to complete their project and get ready for a company-wide presentation. The presentations for all participants' projects will be at Joe's Bar on Weed Street between 3:00 - 5:00 pm on October 26, 2011.

The goal of the Innovation Invasion is to inspire innovation and creativity in building tools to better the entire organization. More than a dozen teams of employees will participate with a project and actually compete against each other to determine the best innovation. The winner of this friendly competition will be decided by all GoHealth employees via text message.

In the first Innovation Invasion, the winning project greatly improved the performance of the Norvax and GoHealth Quote Engine, one of the company's core proprietary technologies.
