The award was presented at the 13th Annual Insurance & Technology Executive Summit in Phoenix, Arizona.
Insurance & Technology's Elite 8 is an annual award recognizing senior insurance carrier IT executives who have used technology strategically to successfully support overall company business objectives. Recipients are a cross section of distinguished individuals from the property/casualty, life and health, and reinsurance segments of the insurance industry.

Anselmo is no stranger to massive strategic project implementations and industry recognition. Prior to joining NBIC, he designed a cutting-edge technology enterprise architecture for a specialty insurance company and led a large team of technology and business employees who successfully completed the implementation. Anselmo has also won acclaim as one of the 2010 Tech Decisions All-Stars, and he has been recognized on Insurance Networking News' list of CIOs taking charge in high‐profile assignments.
Anselmo's most recent endeavor for NBIC, Project APEX, began in 2009. Project APEX was envisioned to modernize NBIC's in-house legacy systems and establish a highly-advanced, flexible and nimble technology environment that would enable the company to deliver exceptional client services, platform scalability, business alignment and the product agility needed to transform the homeowners' insurance marketplace.
