WASHINGTON, Nov. 17, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ONE, the global anti-poverty organization co-founded by Bono, and POLITICO, the nation's leading source for political news, announced today that the two organizations will co-host evening events at the Republican National Convention during the week of Aug. 27, 2012 in Tampa, Fla., and at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., the week of Sept. 3, 2012.
The events will be held the Wednesday night of each convention week and feature performances by well-known musicians, bringing together some of the conventions' most high-profile attendees.
