Shelby Continues to Capture Industry Safety Awards

Receives ZISA (zero injury safety award) award from NMAPC (the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee)


Cinnaminson, NJ, Dec. 15, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shelby Mechanical, Inc. one of the mid Atlantic regions fastest growing mechanical contracting firms continues to capture major safety awards.

In April, 2011, Shelby received the State of New Jersey’s Governor’s award for nearly one quarter of a million hours without an injury.

In May of 2011, Shelby received TAUC’s (The Association of Union Constructors ) Thomas J. Reynolds Awards for Excellence in Construction Safety and Health.

And on October 26, 2011, Shelby received the prestigious ZISA award from NMAPC (the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee) in Washington, DC. This award is for a maintenance and fabrication project at a Back End Technology plant where Shelby logged over 100,000 hours and incurred no reportable accidents. 

This accomplishment for a job of this scale - the equivalent of 50 man years is no accident - pardon the pun. Shelby management goes to incredible lengths to stress safety on all their projects and to invest significant sums in safety initiatives.
