Car Maker Brings Production Back Home Thanks to Green Manufacturing

DETROIT, Dec. 22, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Contrary to popular opinion, manufacturing jobs are on the increase in the United States due in large part to new production methods and energy efficient factories that make "Made in the USA" a reality once again. The American Auto making industry has added tens of thousands of jobs since 2008. That said, more cars (and more jobs) are being produced in the United States thanks to energy efficient production facilities, like the one in Lake Orion, MI where 2,000 employees work in a remodeled assembly plant that has reduced its is coal-burning by 50 percent.
