Organic Taps Rachel Pasqua as Executive Director, Mobile, Builds Strategy Team With Key Hire

Pasqua Joins Organic From iCrossing, Where She Built Leading Mobile Practice

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 12, 2012) - Digital marketing agency Organic (www.organic.com) today announced the appointment of Rachel Pasqua to Executive Director of its mobile marketing practice.

Pasqua, who will report to Steve Kerho, Organic's SVP, Strategy, Media, and Analytics, and Todd Drake, VP, Technology, will lead the mobile practice and touch all client business globally. She will support the agency's integrated marketing capabilities, playing a key role in the conception and execution of mobile campaigns, and the agency's use of emerging technologies and ambient media.

"As mobile increasingly becomes the center of consumers' digital lives, mobile strategy and execution is more important than ever for brands," said Organic CEO Marita Scarfi. "We're thrilled to welcome Rachel to our team. She has a proven track record of delivering strong mobile insights and results, and her expertise will be a valuable asset to the agency."

Most recently, Pasqua served as VP of mobile marketing at iCrossing, where she established the mobile practice and teams across the company to integrate mobile technology, content and apps into their multichannel campaigns. Prior to joining iCrossing, Rachel was director of strategy for Consect, a mobile media consultancy focused on the entertainment and publishing industries.

"I have never seen so much harmony in the ad world as I have seen among Organic's strategy, tech and creative leaders," said Pasqua, a frequent speaker on mobile, social and ambient trends. "The Organic team brings tremendous energy. It's infectious."

Organic's Strategy Team Also Expanding
Pasqua's hire comes on the heels of an additional senior appointment: the hire of Claudia Duch as Executive Director of Strategy.

Duch will lead strategy teams in New York across all client business including Procter & Gamble and two new agency-of-record assignments for The Hartford Inc. and Hasbro. Previously, she was a VP and group director at Digitas, where she led digital marketing initiatives, the creation of cross-channel campaigns and product launches.

"When we invite people onto our strategy team, we do so because they have demonstrated an unparalleled ability to understand the rapidly changing nature of media consumption and what it means for marketers," Kerho said. "As such, Claudia will be a key asset here."
