PHOENIX, Jan. 17, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The AESP Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP), will give away a full suite of GE Profile Appliances ($8,400 value) to raise funds that will support educational resources and scholarships for students and others pursuing careers in energy efficiency.
During the AESP National Conference and Expo in San Diego, February 6-9, 2012, the AESP Foundation will raffle the appliances, which include a GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator, microwave oven, freestanding electric range/oven and dishwasher at a special fundraising event.
The appliances were generously donated by Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Inc. (ARCA). ARCA is dedicated to preserving the environment through energy efficiency and proper appliance disposal. "We are delighted to help the AESP Foundation further promote its mission of encouraging students and other individuals to pursue a career path in energy," stated Jack Cameron, ARCA president and CEO.
