Spirit Airlines Announces Service Between Atlantic City and Atlanta

MIRAMAR, Fla., Feb. 1, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Spirit Airlines (Nasdaq:SAVE) today announced that it will begin daily non-stop seasonal service between Atlantic City and Atlanta on May 17, 2012.

The new service from Atlantic City will also offer one-stop same aircraft continuing service to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (via Atlanta).

In addition, Spirit is resuming daily seasonal service between Atlantic City and Boston on March 1, 2012, and daily seasonal service from Atlantic City to Detroit and Chicago O'Hare on May 3, 2012.

To celebrate, Spirit is offering $28.79 introductory fares, which is a $9.00 base fare plus taxes and fees,* between Atlantic City and Atlanta (each way based on round trip purchase) available today and tomorrow only at www.spirit.com.

• Domestic Segment Tax: A segment tax of $3.80 per U.S. domestic flight segment (a flight segment is defined as one takeoff and landing).
• Passenger Facility Charges (PFC): Up to $18 per round trip per customer in local airport charges.
• Passenger Usage Fee: Passenger Usage Fee of $16.99 per one way travel per traveling customer applies to most reservations. A lower fee of $8.99 may apply to certain discount fares. No fee applies to bookings completed at Spirit Airlines' airport locations.

• Customs User Fee of up to $5.50 per traveling customer upon arrival to the U.S.
• Passenger Facility Charges (PFC): Up to $9.00 each way per traveling customer.
• International arrival/departure tax of $16.70 for each arrival and departure to and from the U.S.

All Air Travel
