Locus Announces Three New Directors

Industry Experts and New Senior Executives Have Extensive Management, Product, Service, and Software Experience From Hewlett Packard, Oracle, and SAP

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 13, 2012) - Locus Technologies, the industry leader in Cloud computing-based compliance and information management software for air, water, energy, and other environmental emissions monitoring, announced today the addition of three director-level positions to its management team: Matt O'Keefe joined Locus as Director of Large Programs, Imran Tusneem joined Locus as Director of Software Engineering, and Owen O'Neil joined Locus as Director of Database Architecture.

As a Director of Large Programs, O'Keefe's primary focus will be inside sales and program management with existing and future Locus customers. O'Keefe will be responsible for ensuring that Locus' growing software platform for energy, water, and emissions management meets the evolving needs of government and commercial customers.

O'Keefe comes to Locus from Enviance where he was Program/Account Director. Before Enviance, he served as Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer of TechniData America, a company owned and subsequently merged into SAP. Prior to that he spent 10 years with The DuPont Company at its headquarters in Wilmington, DE, where he held various positions as IT Program Manager, Global Project Manager, and Information Technology & Systems Consultant (Environment, Health & Safety).

O'Keefe holds an MBA degree in International Business from the University of Delaware and a BS in Chemical Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics from the State University of New York Buffalo, NY.

Tusneem joins Locus as Director of Software Engineering at the company's headquarters in Silicon Valley where he will be responsible for ensuring that Locus continues to deliver a robust and scalable technology solution and software architecture for Locus customers and partners.

Tusneem has more than 15 years of experience in information technology and software development. Most recently, he was the architect responsible for the success of a key application transformation initiative at Hewlett Packard; the software is used by HP customers in both Software-as-a-Service and on-premises applications. Tusneem held various positions at Hewlett Packard, including Director for Packaged Solutions, Director for the Custom Application Development practice, lead industry technologist, and architect for a Cloud-based next-generation automation and delivery platform. He was the lead architect for one of HP's largest project and portfolio management implementations supporting more than 150,000 enterprise services consultants across the globe.

Prior to Hewlett Packard, Tusneem worked at Mercury Interactive, which was acquired by HP in 2006. At Mercury, he championed and pioneered cutting-edge solutions in application quality and management automation across different technology stacks. He progressed to the position of Director of Solutions Development for Global Practices, supporting both managed SaaS-based and on-premises products and solutions.

Tusneem holds Master's and Bachelor's of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana.

O'Neil joins Locus as Director of Database Architecture. He will be responsible for ensuring that all Locus applications are scalable and use flexible and robust database architecture in the Cloud.

O'Neil comes to Locus after distinguishing himself as an accomplished software architect with PeopleSoft. He was among the first 100 PeopleSoft employees; while at PeopleSoft, he designed and built many of the key products that made the organization one of the most successful ERP software companies in the world prior to being acquired by Oracle. He is a SQL guru and evangelist of set processing and parallel techniques. He was a primary architect of Meta SQL.

He was PeopleSoft's principal Software Architect for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and People Tools for PeopleSoft (now Oracle) products. He also conceived, designed, developed, and delivered PeopleSoft Application Engine, Payment Predictor, PeopleSoft Meta-SQL, Data Warehousing Tools, ETL tools, Data Objects, and Universal Expressions, products still in use by many Oracle customers.

O'Neil holds a BS degree University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA.
