VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 21, 2012) - Media are invited to join the Advanced Coronary Treatment (ACT) Foundation as they teach MLAs how to save lives using CPR.
Since 2005, ACT has worked to make CPR training part of the curriculum for all B.C. public secondary schools. In celebration of Heart Month, ACT will be joined by high school students to show MLAs proper lifesaving techniques and discuss their ongoing efforts to promote CPR.
Two rescuers and two survivors will also be on hand to tell their stories to media. Join Candace and Cassie as they describe how the training they received in school helped them save a young man's life.
