Call2Recycle Names Canadian Supplier for Lithium Battery Recycling

New Agreement With Toxco of British Columbia to Deepen Green Footprint


TORONTO, March 12, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Call2Recycle®, North America's leader in consumer battery recycling, is proud to announce that it has signed a new agreement engaging Toxco-Canada to process Lithium and Lithium Ion batteries for recycling. This new contract builds on the partnership that Toxco-Canada already has with Call2Recycle as a service provider of sorting batteries and cellular phones.

Toxco's facility in Trail, British Columbia is the only facility in the world that offers both primary and secondary (rechargeable) Lithium battery recycling. Call2Recycle's processing agreement ensures that Toxco-Canada will utilize its unique hydrometallurgical technology to produce lithium and cobalt raw materials.
