BzzAgent Announces Hottest New Consumer Products Nominated for the 2012 "Hypeworthies" Awards

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Mar 26, 2012) - BzzAgent, the company that lets you try cool new products, share deals with friends and influence top brands, today announced the finalists for the 2012 Hypeworthies, an award program recognizing the hottest new consumer products generating hype and flying off store shelves. Six innovative products have been nominated by consumers in 13 categories from brands including Cheerios, L'Oreal, Burt's Bees, Iams, Gerber, Starbucks, Kashi, Jack Daniel's and Tide, to a name a few. Starting today, consumers can participate by voting on the finalists at Since this award recognizes online buzz, consumers are encouraged to begin social media discussions by submitting stories and photos about the products on the award site, and discussing their favorites on Twitter and Facebook. In addition, one People's Choice award will be determined entirely from consumer votes and feedback.

A panel of judges from leading marketing, research and measurement organizations will also review all of the submissions along with metrics on overall consumer buzz and market sales data from leading measurement companies to select the winners in each product category.
