Memorial Children's Hospital Selected as Beneficiary of the Four Winds Invitational

Southwestern Michigan's and Northern Indiana's Only Designated Children's Hospital


SOUTH BEND, IN--(Marketwire - Mar 28, 2012) - The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, owners of Four Winds Casinos®, the premier gaming destinations in the Midwest, and the LPGA®, the world's leading women's professional golf organization, announced today that proceeds from the Four Winds Invitational will go to Memorial Children's Hospital™. Four Winds Casinos is the title sponsor for the Four Winds Invitational, which is a new tournament on the 2012 Symetra® Tour -- Road to the LPGA. The exact size of the charitable contribution will be disclosed following the completion of the Four Winds Invitational in mid-August, but is expected to be at least $50,000 and perhaps as much as $75,000 for Memorial Children's.

The Four Winds Invitational will be held from Friday, August 10 through Sunday, August 12, at the Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend, Ind. The tournament will feature a field of professional women golfers from around the world competing for a total prize of $150,000, making it the largest purse on the 2012 Symetra Tour. It will be held at Blackthorn Golf Club, located at 6100 Nimtz Parkway, South Bend, Ind.
