OGDEN, UT--(Marketwire - Mar 29, 2012) - TAB Bank has long partnered with non-profit organizations locally in Utah for the purpose of providing financial assistance and other resources to individuals and families in need. One such organization that TAB has partnered with for this purpose is St. Anne's Center in Ogden, UT.
St. Anne's Center was established in 1981 by a coalition of churches to help meet the basic food, clothing, and shelter needs of the poor, the transient, and the needy. The current facility was built in 1994 with the help of generous donations from the community. This facility contains a 100-bed homeless shelter and a soup kitchen which is open daily for lunch to anyone in need.
St. Anne's also employs case workers who are dedicated to helping those in need get back on their feet by identifying their specific problems and helping them access community resources. St. Anne's also helps those, who through no fault of their own, are unable to provide for themselves and have nowhere else to turn, such as those who are mentally or physically ill. St. Anne's works in partnership with several other community organizations to ensure that no one slips through the cracks.
TAB Bank is in their third year of providing funding on an annual basis to St. Anne's Center. In addition to providing financial assistance, TAB Bank employees recently participated in a diaper donation drive on behalf of St. Anne's Center. TAB employees donated a total of 3,423 diapers and 3,934 baby wipes. The diapers and baby wipes collected will serve the needs of families with babies and young children who take advantage of St. Anne's and their services.
