CHICAGO, April 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International (FMA) has announced the 2012 FMA / CNA Safety Awards. JMC Steel Group ("JMC") was recognized for excellence in safety in three categories: 2012 Safety Award of Honor, 2012 Safety Award of Merit and 2012 Most Improved Safety Record.

"This year's recognition in all three categories demonstrates our continued commitment to strive for excellence in safety," said John Higgins, executive vice president, operations, at JMC. "Our people have embraced this commitment in each of our facilities, and these awards demonstrate the results."

The 2012 FMA / CNA Safety Awards recognize metal fabrication companies for commitment to excellence in safety. Winners are determined by the FMA Safety Council and the awards are presented on April 25 and 26 at the annual FMA Safety Conference in Milwaukee, Wis.
