GOVERNING Names Erin Waters as Publisher


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - May 10, 2012) - GOVERNING, a division of e.Republic, has named Erin Waters as publisher. The move is part of GOVERNING's ongoing expansion, including the launch of the GOVERNING Institute, an expanded slate of events, and greater online news coverage featuring both GOVERNING Data and 2012 Election Center. Waters will oversee business development and sales across key market segments for the firm, including public finance, infrastructure, energy and advocacy.

Waters has served as associate publisher for the last two years during which time she focused on business development and expansion across the GOVERNING platform. Prior to joining GOVERNING, Waters worked for Congressional Quarterly, where she first managed the digital media platform and later handled advocacy advertising sales across print, online and event properties.

At the same time, Fred Kuhn becomes the Associate Publisher for Information Technology, where he manages a 16-member sales team across the e.Republic enterprise. The information technology sector has long been a strong market segment for GOVERNING and Kuhn will focus his deep experience and expertise in this segment to maximum expansion for the company.
