NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 15, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lauren C. Templeton, founder of a boutique firm that embraces the value investing techniques of her famous great uncle, Sir John M. Templeton, has been announced as the keynote speaker of the second INVEST Tennessee Equity Conference.

Templeton, president of Lauren Templeton Capital Management, LLC, located in Chattanooga, will address an INVEST Tennessee Equity Conference audience of public company executives, institutional investors, stock analysts and other investment and business professionals from Tennessee and the region.

INVEST Tennessee is a forum showcasing Tennessee public companies to professional investors. Among the companies taking part in the June 21 event at the Nashville Convention Center are AmSurg, Healthways, Noranda Aluminum and Tractor Supply from the Nashville area; AutoZone, FedEx and International Paper from Memphis; and Miller Energy Resources, ProVectus Pharmaceuticals and Regal Entertainment from the Knoxville area.
