Florida State University Renews Partnership With Paciolan

IRVINE, CA and TALLAHASSEE, FL--(Marketwire - May 29, 2012) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solutions in college athletics, announced today that Florida State University ("FSU") has renewed its partnership with the company. Working with Paciolan since 1985, FSU will continue leveraging all of Paciolan's industry-leading solutions, including the company's StubHub integration, online ticketing and fundraising tools, social media and marketing solutions.

"Our partnership with Paciolan has helped us to take advantage of emerging trends in the industry to deliver exceptional services and experiences to Seminole fans," said Randy Spetman, athletic director of Florida State University. "With the help of Paciolan's technology, we continue to elevate the level of customer service for our season ticket holders, donors and fans."

Leveraging Paciolan's StubHub integration, which enables Seminole fans and season ticketholders to sell and purchase tickets on the secondary market, FSU increased the number of tickets sold on StubHub by 250 percent during its first year of participating in the partnership. The process is simple, fast and delivers incremental value to both Florida State Athletics and Seminole fans.

"The Paciolan StubHub integration has proven to be a win-win for us and our customers," said Ben Zierden, assistant athletics director-ticket sales and operations. "It allows us to continue our ticket sales growth, is an asset to our sales efforts, and helps us encourage the purchase of season tickets. Operationally, it is very easy for customers to move tickets and get their payments from StubHub, and since we don't have to get involved, we can focus our efforts on our athletics initiatives."

Using the company's Access Management and digital ticketing solutions and working closely with its Paciolan Client Partner and Ecommerce Specialist, FSU achieved 100 percent online student ticket sales and print-at-home delivery, which also allowed it to reduce mailing costs and will-call lines.

To connect and interact with fans, FSU uses Paciolan's PAC Social Media platform, which also allows it to communicate with fans, manage its social media conversations, and offer unique promotions through Facebook. For example, FSU collected 10,000 new leads through a Facebook sweepstakes offer in which fans could win sold out tickets to a Florida State/Oklahoma football game through StubHub.

"PAC Social Media continues to help us expand our reach on Facebook," said Ryan Pensy, assistant athletics director for digital media. "With the innovative tools offered by Paciolan and Buddy Media, we are able to stay on the cutting edge."

"It's very exciting working with such an athletics powerhouse as Florida State University, which continues to break ground on unique ticketing, marketing, and fundraising initiatives and push the boundaries of excellence," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "As we extend our long-term partnership, we look forward to continuing our work together and to helping them achieve their future goals."
