ENGlobal Recognized with Safety Awards and Achieves Safety Milestone


Houston, TX, June 7, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ENGlobal (NASDAQ: ENG), a leading provider of energy-related project delivery solutions, announced today that it was awarded the "Gold Level of Achievement for Safety Excellence" at the 25th Annual Houston Business Roundtable (HBR) awards banquet held in Galveston, Texas.  In addition to the Gold level distinction, ENGlobal received the "Newcomer of the Year" award, which recognizes the Company's first year of HBR participation.  ENGlobal was nominated by a client for its OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) performance at the facility.

In addition, ENGlobal reported that it received a Safety Excellence Award, which recognizes contractor companies that have achieved outstanding safety performance, and it was recognized with a safety award for safety performance at a South Texas plant for its performance during fiscal year 2011.

The Company also announced that it achieved more than 2.5 million man-hours worked without a recordable at a client's Texas and Louisiana facilities.
