NEW YORK, July 9, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Micron Enviro Systems, Inc. (MSVS.PK), an emerging mining company, announced that management has staked 16 additional Gold permits within the Dawson District of the Yukon. The new claims are approximately 9 KM from Kinross's White Gold discovery.
"We originally set out to secure about 14 properties," stated Bradley Rudman, President of Micron. "With these additional properties however, we now own the rights to over 1,000 acres of what many consider 'premier' gold claims given our proximity to the Kinross [Gold Corporation] Yukon findings."
Micron now maintains 22 permits within the Yukon area and seems steadfast in its resolve to streamline operations. With a 2ndQT announcement disbanding former pursuits of its coal leases and Lithium permits, management has successfully narrowed focus to its Gold claims and possible alliances with special situations. Management also indicates there were other cost reductions made to overhead, operational and project expenses.
Mr. Rudman continued, "Since committing to a focused business strategy, investment interest in Micron seems to be strengthening. Securing funds on an 'as needed basis,' we have been able to cover a number of expenses this past quarter. This includes, renewing our original 6 gold claims as well as staking over 800 acres of new property interest. And with our new investment interest, we are considering a sampling work program on all 22 claims."
Recent investment interest in Micron may also be tied to the possibility of its strategic relationship with international drilling company, Britannia Mining. Strategic relationships with a company like Britannia may be a perfect fit with Micron's new strategies in maximizing shareholder value.
With new gold claims, focused business model, and newfound investor interest, it is expected that negotiations with Britannia will soon proceed – with management confident that the company is on the right tract to succeed.
