INDIANAPOLIS, July 9, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The third INVESTIndiana Equity Conference returns to Indianapolis this September, providing institutional investors, fund managers, analysts and investment professionals the opportunity to hear about the performance and prospects of Indiana's leading public companies. The one-day event will be held on Sept. 13 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis.

The event features NASDAQ and NYSE-listed public companies based in Indiana. Participating companies as of today include: Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc., First Merchants Corporation, German American Bancorp, Inc., Hillenbrand, Inc., Interactive Intelligence Group, Inc., KAR Auction Services, Inc., Lakeland Financial Corporation, MutualFirst Financial, Inc. NiSource Inc., Old National Bancorp, Shoe Carnival, Inc., Tower Financial Corporation and Vectren Corporation. Some 14 to 16 Indiana public companies are expected to present at the event.
