Top Image Systems and Saperion Announce Partnership Agreement on Integrated End-to-End ECM solution

Cooperation Enables Partners to Provide Market-Sought Comprehensive ECM Solution Including Capture, Recognition, Workflow and Archive; Already Deployed at Pan-European Customer

TEL AVIV, Israel, COLOGNE, Germany and BERLIN, July 16, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Top Image Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq:TISA) and Saperion AG announce reaching a cooperation agreement to offer high-performance, comprehensive end-to-end Enterprise Content Management solutions. The companies will pool their competencies by bringing together Top Image Systems' eFLOW® intelligent content capture and delivery platform and Saperion's flexible and scalable archiving system.

Upon reaching an agreement on June 26, Saperion and Top Image Systems have chosen to intensify their long-standing cooperation and will be offering perfectly tailored end-to-end solutions for optimized, automated document-based business process management to companies and institutions across all sectors. Combining TIS' eFLOW and Saperion's archiving solution will guarantee superior performance and a seamless workflow, from capturing and processing information in any format to audit-proof archiving of data and documents.

A notable example of a successful implementation of a joint Top Image Systems' eFLOW and Saperion archiving solution is the invoice processing project at Leica Microsystems, a leading manufacturer of optical microscopes, devices for producing microscope samples and other related products. Since 2010, Leica has been processing some 150,000 incoming invoices per year across 11 sites with TIS' eFLOW and delivering the captured data to their existing SAP system and into the Saperion archive. Thanks to the solution's standardized workflows for invoice review and approval, Leica's 1,800 SAP users worldwide have access to any relevant invoice data immediately upon its receipt and can review revision data at the click of a button.

Herbert Lörch, CEO of Saperion AG, comments, "The success of past joint projects has proven that Top Image Systems' capture solutions are a perfect fit for our archiving systems. In response to positive customer feedback, we will harness our extensive project experience to create jointly offered high-performance solutions."

"By fusing knowledge and skills from two technology leaders," explains Dr. Ido Schechter, CEO, Top Image Systems, "we are creating a virtually unrivalled solution for end-to-end document and information management that maximizes efficiency and productivity, thus increasing our customers' competitive advantage. As the cooperation agreement between Saperion and Top Image Systems will include integrated components as well as joint support services, our customers will enjoy even faster and higher competency problem-solving capabilities. In alignment with TIS' growth strategy for strategic partnerships, we believe that offering this joint solution with its powerful business process management functionality meets an increasingly strong demand on the market that will contribute to the accelerated growth of our respective businesses."
