SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 8, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, Give2Asia, a U.S.-based nonprofit promoting transformative philanthropy to Asia, announces new fiscal sponsor partnerships, two that strengthen higher education in Taiwan, and a third that provides daily services for vulnerable populations in India.
Feng Chia University and National Taiwan Normal University are now two of eleven Taiwanese universities partnering with Give2Asia to connect with their overseas alumni and other supporters. Taiwanese universities have received over US$3.5 million in donations as part of their relationship with Give2Asia.
In India, Give2Asia's new partner Sai Educational Rural & Urban Development Society works to provide daily services to impoverished and disadvantaged populations.
