Insight Hits a Home Run Through the Arizona Diamondbacks' Charities

Insight Donates HP and Lenovo Computers to Scholarship Winners and a Tempe School

TEMPE, Ariz., Aug. 9, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Insight Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq:NSIT), a leading worldwide technology provider of hardware, software and service solutions, announced today that it will donate desktop and laptop computers to scholarship award winners and to a school that serves underprivileged children in support of the Arizona Diamondbacks' two charitable programs.

The Arizona Diamondbacks, in conjunction with the Helios Education Foundation, have launched a scholarship program that will award $1 million to eight Arizona college-bound seniors for the next five years. In partnership with HP and Lenovo, Insight will provide each of the eight 2012-13 recipients with a laptop computer. The scholarship, administered by the Arizona College Scholarship Foundation (ACSF), is awarded to high potential/low income Arizona students in pursuit of higher education.

As part of the D-backs' Give Back League, a volunteer group of D-backs' employees will be hosting a back-to-school bonanza for the students of Children First Academy on Friday, August 17 from 8am-10am at the school's Tempe campus. Insight, along with their partners HP and Lenovo, are donating computers, one for each classroom, to the school. Children First Academy serves underprivileged children (300 students, Grades K-8) throughout the valley.

"We are grateful to have partners like Lenovo and HP who generously support our community involvement efforts, and are very proud to be working with the Arizona Diamondbacks to provide scholarship award winners and the school with new computers," said Brian Davis, senior vice president of marketing, Insight. "We wish the award winners the best of luck as they start their freshman year of college and we thank Children First Academy for all their hard work and the impact they are making on countless lives."
